Este tema, interpretado por la banda alemana “Scorpions“, fue publicado como un sencillo el 4 de Junio de 1984. En el vídeo vemos una versión en vivo de la canción, grabado el 31 de Noviembre de 1985 en el “Peter Popshow”. Esta pieza se considera perteneciente al género denominado “Power Ballad“.
Fue escrita por Rudolf Schenker y Klaus Meine, y producida por Dieter Dierks para su noveno álbum de estudio “Love at First Sting“, lanzado el 27 de marzo de 1984.
Según se dice “su letra ha sido considerada como una metáfora a la división de Alemania Oriental y la occidental, aunque el verdadero significado es sobre la historia de un amor desesperado”.
Scorpions
Es una banda alemana de hard rock y heavy metal, fundada en Hannover en 1965. En su larga trayectoria de más de 50 años, han demostrado ser la la banda de rock más exitosa de Alemania. Han publicado 19 discos de estudio y han realizado 23 giras, siendo la más reciente la de “Crazy World Tour 2017-2020”.
Entre sus influencias encontramos a varias bandas de los 60 como Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Golden Earring, Jimi Hendrix y Uriah Heep, entre otras.
A nivel mundial han vendido mas de 160 millones de copias de sus diferentes grabaciones.
